All abortion providers are required to determine the probable post-fertilization age of a fetus. This for the “unborn child” to survive. This to the pregnant woman. An individual who performs or attempts to perform, an abortion in violation of the provisions of the abortion law would be subject to a fine, a prison term of up to five years, or both. RESTRICTIONS ON ABORTION PROVIDERS

New Jersey imposes extra restrictions on abortion providers despite all health-care providers complying with a variety of federal and state regulations. The medical restrictions are deemed unnecessary regarding where there is the provision of abortion services. The regulations include restricting the provision of abortion services to hospitals and other specialized facilities that require doctors to obtain additional licenses. Additionally, the abortion law requires that doctors convert their practices to mini-hospitals at great expense and provide abortion care in hospitals which is quite impossible in the country. Abortion providers providing abortion services after the 18th week must have surgical. Also, have admitting privileges at a hospital within 20 minutes of driving time. Lastly, the legislative bill based on the pain-capable unborn child protection act requires that licensed hospitals and licensed ambulatory care facilities carry out the legal abortion services.
