This dissertation examines essential communication elements and the barriers to communication. Communication refers to the sending and receiving of information through a medium. The process is both static (fixed) and dynamic (variable) at the same time. It is dynamic as there is a continuous interaction between communicating parties. On the other hand, it is static because it pertains to fixed rules for making the process effective. Therefore, there exist the importance of effective communication. The primary element of communication includes the following. One is the sender who takes part in delivering information. Secondly, the message is the set of data for transmission. Thirdly, the medium is the network of communication. Fourthly, the receiver receives the information. Additionally, the feedback is the reaction towards the information.
