The approaches are what classify the types of feminism. Psychoanalytic feminism deals with masculinity in women’s heads that result from them being in a patriarchal society. Socialist feminism is a general term for those feminists who adopt a form of Marxism to analyze women’s oppression. Liberal feminism refers to those early pioneers of radical feminism who saw society organized into sexual spheres. Finally, radical feminism in the theory of feminism involves witnessing the oppression of women as mainly by men.
