STARVING POLAR BEARS AND NEW SEA ROUTES

Starving polar bears are now a common picture while new sea routes are forming due to melting ice. Because of melting sea ice, it is likely that more polar bears will soon starve, warns a new study. The study discovered that large carnivores need to eat 60 per cent more than anyone had realized. Climate change is the primary cause of the sea ice melting that leads to new sea routes. It turns out they are high-energy beasts, burning through 12,325 calories a day—despite sitting around most of the time. Starving polar bears as caught the eyes of the world but corporate are celebrating the formation of new sea routes.

REASON FOR SEA ICE MELTING AND THE IMPACT OF GLACIERS

There are various reasons as to the sea ice melting, and the primary factor is Global Warming. Ice acts like a protective cover over the Earth and our oceans. These bright white spots reflect excess heat into space and keep the planet cooler. The sea ice melting leads to new sea routes at the expense of polar mammals. This is as massive amounts of freezing glacial-melt water entering warmer ocean waters is slowing ocean currents. And as ice on land melts, sea levels will continue to rise. Starving polar bears will lead to their extinction while new sea routes form due to melting ice.

NEW SEA ROUTES AND THE ROLE OF THE MELTING SEA ICE

The sea ice melting on the Northern Sea Route will open new possibilities for shipping companies. This today account for 2-3% of global  CO2 emissions and around 80% of world trade journeys by sea.  The new sea routes are set to lead to cost savings for global shipping firms. In August 2018, Mærsk sent the first container ship through Russia’s Northern Sea Route from Vladivostok to St Petersburg. They thereby reduced its average distance by 40% by going north instead of south. Starving polar bears will be extinct while new sea routes form with the increase in melting sea ice.

After I ordered a dissertation from your writing service, the first paper that I was given did not met my professor’s demand. I set the paper on revision and the writer made the revision for free meeting all my requirements and I was very satisfied.
