Indies destruction involves a tome of shocking mass slaughter, slavery and, torture which showed that the European civilization and evangelizing vision of Columbus had descended under later knights and soldiers into genocide. The authority of Madrid did not approve of this, so they relieved Christopher Columbus of his command over the land. Evangelism in America and China had different effects on the native people. Rulers favored Spaniards working in the pretense of instructing slaves in the Catholic Religion, therefore given more slaves. The natives were separated, underfed and tortured which resulted in most of their deaths.

THE CATHOLIC MISSION IN CHINA
The European civilization in China involved Jesuit missionaries who experimented with a policy of accommodation. This relied on the insights and support of converted and literate natives. China was relying on different approaches, hence no slavery. Evangelism in America and China proved to be more effective in China due to Matteo Ricci’s unique approach to Chinese culture. Matteo Ricci remains an attractive figure on the academic level. However, according to of Pasquale d’Elia’s edition of the primary sources (Fonti Ricciane, 3 vols., 1942-1949) and the analysis of the method of evangelisation by d’Elia’s student Johannes Bettray (Die Akkommodationsmethode des P. Matteo Ricci S.I. in China, 1955), it appears that Ricci was less accommodative than often assumed.

EUROPEAN CIVILIZATION AND EXPANSION IN AMERICA AND CHINA
Due to the European civilization, China was increasingly drawn into transnational affairs and European trade, with the Ming dynasty enjoying prosperity due to the introduction of American crops. Additionally, in America, slavery in the Catholic religion was more of a routine. Christopher Columbus emphasized that the New World was a lawless territory to defend his harsh ways of governance. Apart from spreading Evangelism in America and China, the Europeans also sought to expand trade routes. This was to find new sources of wealth. This saw the rise of colonial empires on a global scale and building of a commercial network that connected Europe, Asia, Africa and, the New World.
